Aadi Amavasya 2023 date is Wednesday 2:31 AM, July 17 IST to Thursday July 18, 04:38 AM, IST. Special prayers, rituals and offerings are made on the day for departed souls to rest in peace. Sai Bharathi will be offering pinda pradhanam, pitr tarpana and pujas on this occasion on the banks of the Cauvery River, Kanjanur.

Kindly note, there are two Aadi dates for 2023 – 17 July and Wednesday, 16 August 2023.
